Turn your home into a spa with Cleopatra’s Choice {Review}

I’m pretty sure  we would all love to have a weekly visit to the spa, unfortunately for most of us this is an unrealistic expectation.  However, with a few candles, some herbal tea or mineral water and a few carefully selected products we can turn our home (OK..our bathroom) into a spa.  Until I was approached by the company I had never before heard of Cleopatra’s Choice health and beauty products.  If you are like me and are unfamiliar with them here is some quick information:

Adovia Dead Sea Hand Cream - I love this cream, it made my hands feel very soft and smooth.  It was not at all oily, lasted a long time and had a very, very subtle fragrance that I can only describe as clean and fresh.  I also used it as a body moisturizer and applied it when I was just fresh from the bath or shower and found it made my entire body feel soft and silky.

African Black Soap – I’m very fussy about the soap I used, my skin tends to be on the dry side and I find most soaps make this dryness even worse.   This soap has a wonderful, earthy scent and left my skin feeling clean and supple.   Apparently it has several medicinal qualities as well, such as,  relieving the skin irritations of acne, eczema, psoriasis, allergic reactions, and rashes. African Black Soap can also be helpful is treating dandruff, dry, itchy skin or scalps, and helping with body odor and sweat.

What I like the most is this soap is a Fair Trade product that is hand pressed by the African women in a small village in Ghana.

Calming Essential Oil Blend - This calming oil is a blend of lavender, rose, orange and geranium essential oils and is so versatile. I’ve added to my bath water when I wanted a nice, long, soothing soak in the tub and I’ve also placed a few drops in strategic areas around the house to create an inviting atmosphere for family and friends.  This fragrance is also very subtle and not at all overwhelming.  My daughter says it smells like the spa…and she’s exactly right, it does!
