Well, they certainly did not get their talent from their mom Jennifer…it came directly from their dad! I have spent many an hour happily being the audience, just sitting back listening to them play and sing. {My only talent…lol}

Awhhh…you’ll have to pick it up soon. My husband keeps his in our kitchen and I don’t think a day goes by that he doesn’t pick it up, even if it’s just for a few minutes.
My family isn’t musical but I love getting together with good friends to just hang out and jam too :)
I find it’s so much fun to be “the audience” and just all get together for some music and fun, be it with family or friends!

Kathryn, I bet you have wonderful memories of your dad and his friends playing. Does your dad play guitar and sing? Our daughter lives at home so her and her dad play together all the time and we all love it when Jarod is home and they can all be together playing and singing…I have no musical talent what so ever but I love to sit back, watch and listen.
He did, actually, Monica! And he also played accordion, which was a sometimes super fun treat. I have a little musical talent (piano and saxophone and such) but there’s just something about the guitar and singing that’s timeless and heartwarming like nothing else. :)
Piano and saxophone, I would say that’s more than a little musical talent!!
I love the sound of an accordion but have only heard it live once or twice. My husband also plays mandolin and mouth organ and both kids play mouth organ too. Our son is actually in a band in London…I’m not sure where they came from, they are so not my kids…lol!!
