Tonight at dusk, there were seven deer in our backyard. I wasn’t able to get them all in one shot but if you look closely you’ll see five.

I think they were hoping we had some food, I live in a sub-division and they’re fairly tame and used to people.

Oh that really takes me back to living on the farm. It was just normal to look out the window and see dear :)
We’re definitely not on a farm but it is so cool to look out the window and see them all walking down the road!

Beautiful!! We haven’t seen many on our farm lately. Last Thanksgiving I was looking out our kitchen window and counted 34 in our back field!

Oh you so remind me of home. We are wintering in Arizona and no deer here – just memories. I love them even though they eat my plants.

Yes, they certainly do like to munch on my flowers Janis…I’m gradually planting deer resistant types but we always joke that our planters out front are really just big bowls of salad for the deer. I feel sorry for them though and I can’t get upset. They were here first…until our sub-divisions took away all of their food and shelter.

Good job, that 5th one was fairly hidden! Yes, they are pretty tame, we live in a residential area and they are very used to seeing a lot of people!
