Asian T&T Products Now in Many Atlantic Canada Superstores

Did you know the Atlantic Superstore recently announced they are now carrying a selection of Asian T & T Products in many Superstores across Atlantic Canada?  Whether your celebrating the Chinese New Year or getting friends and family together for a delicious and authentic Asian meal, the Atlantic Superstore® is now your one stop store.  They have added to the already impressive array of international products sold with select T&T products which are also now available.

I recently had the opportunity to sample just some of the delicious T&T products available including:

T&T® Crispy Crackers – they are the perfect appetizer. These crispy crackers can be topped with grilled vegetables, flavourful spreads or even marinated seafood. Available in Milk, Cheese and Saltine varieties.

T&T® Aloe Vera Drink – unique and refreshing, this is an incredibly popular Asian drink that contains real aloe vera pulp. Best served cold, it has an intense tropical flavour with just the right amount of sweetness. Try serving it to guests using pieces of frozen fruit like mango or pineapple instead of ice cubes.

Treat your guests to a delicately flavoured glass of T&T® Jasmine Green Tea, made with tea leaves from the high mountains of Taiwan and blended with the essence of white jasmine flower. This infused iced tea drink is subtly floral, well-balanced and soothing without being overly sweet. Best served chilled or over ice, it’s also rich in antioxidants and vitamin C.

I also tried the delicious T&T® Korean Kalbi Marinade Sauce. This authentic marinade blends soy sauce, sesame seeds, hints of garlic, ginger and is mellowed by sweet pear, which helps tenderize meat and make it extra-succulent. Although traditionally used on beef ribs this marinade is also delicious on chicken and pork, perfect for fast grilling and easy Asian-style stir-fries.

I made a chicken stir fry and the taste was out of this world, you have to try this delicious marinade!

You can end your feast with delicious sweet cakes, like T&T® Pineapple Cakes. Traditional pineapple cakes like these can be found in almost any bakery in Taiwan. The moist, crumbly, golden crust surrounds a chewy, fresh-tasting filling made with intensely sweet pineapples.

Or try T&T® Chinese Style Pastry (also known as sachima), a moist, chewy puffed wheat snack from Taiwan resembling puffed rice squares. These treats are irresistibly sweet, slightly sticky and perfectly golden brown with no added preservatives! Available in a few varieties, family and friends will enjoy such as Raisin & Sesame, Multigrain and Egg.

Instead of the usual dinner fare, wouldn’t it be fun to gather your family and friends and sample the exotic spices and foods from around the world? It’s now easier than ever to explore the cuisines of the world and create your very own unique Asian menu for guests.

  9. Our church met above a Chinese grocery store for quite a few years when we first started out. every sunday afternoon, we’d go in and get some real oriental food. so many times that my kids eventually picked up saying, hello, thank you and good bye in Mandarin. :) I’ll have to look for these the next time I’m at the Superstore.

  13. Tonia Passer says:

Asian food is every bit as diverse as it is delicious. I used to think that I knew Asian foods growing up. You see, we used to go out to Chinese and practically every weekend. They were a couple Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood, and they were perfect for us kids. They were greasy, flavorful, and we got a cookie at the end of every meal. What more could a child ask for?’
