After a slow and rainy start to this past summer, September and October have been fabulous! We still have our patio furniture and barbecue out on the deck. It is starting to get a little chilly, but that hasn’t stopped us from firing up the barbecue as often as we can!
With the impending winter barreling down upon us, it is so nice to be able to still spend time outside. We love doing many outdoor activities like gardening, camping, hiking, family dinners and, of course, barbecuing!
We have a brand new shiny barbecue this year and have put it to great use. There is nothing like relaxing on the deck with a cold beverage while some tasty burgers or steaks are sizzling away on the grill.

Who will be joining as our special guest?
International Chef Clinton Zhu will be joining us all the way from Shanghai to answer our culinary questions. Chef Zhu graduated from Shanghai Tourism Culinary School, Chef Zhu began his career at a Shanghai French fine dining restaurant nearly 20 years ago. Our International Chef participates as a judge at culinary competitions in Asia and holds a chair on numerous culinary committees and associations.
I am so looking forward to this party! It will be great to learn all about cooking Canadian beef with an Asian flavour.
