As I am sure you are aware, the value of the Canadian dollar has been rapidly decreasing. For years, the Canadian and US dollar had been roughly at par, fluctuating a few cents above and below. But that is no longer the case. The value of the Canadian dollar has decreased, and we recently hit a 30 year low!
Because of the low value of the Canadian dollar, many people have altered their travel plans and are foregoing US for other travel destinations, such as the Caribbean, Mexico, and Cuba.
One important thing that people changing their travel plans may not realize is, extra precautions need to be taken when heading to some vacation destinations that are located outside of North America. Fortunately, everything you need to know about your travel vaccinations is available at your local Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy!
At the top of your list of precautions should be ensuring you and your family have all the necessary travel vaccinations. It’s difficult to know exactly what vaccinations you and your family will need, but luckily your pharmacist is there to advise you. And…travel vaccinations are now available at your local pharmacy!
Ask the Pharmacist & You May Win a $100 SDM GC
With all of this in mind, I would like to compile a list of travel immunization-related questions. I will then take some of the questions to my local pharmacist and report back to you with a list of those questions, as well as, the answers.
