Make Some Treats and Make a Difference!

My favourite time of the year and a time of year that is loved by many is quickly creeping up on us.  I have (just…lol) started some holiday shopping, some of the homes in our area (not mine, yet) are decorated for the season and Christmas parades have started winding down the streets of local communities.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year…or is it?

Thanks to the good folks at Kellogg’s and The Salvation Army, for many it promises to be much brighter than it may have been.

To make sure no child goes without the magic of the holidays, the Kellogg’s Rice Krispies #TreatsForToys program has once again partnered with The Salvation Army to encourage Canadians across the country to create a toy-shaped Rice Krispies treat and share a photo on TreatsforToys.ca, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #TreatsforToys.

For each photo that is uploaded or shared on social media during the campaign, Kellogg’s Rice Krispies will give $20 to The Salvation Army to help with the purchase of an actual toy for a child in need during the holidays.

Show your little ones what it means to give. Together and in the true spirit of the holidays, we can help make them a little happier for children in need.

~ MAKE ~ SHARE ~ GIVE ~

To spread a little bit of holiday magic and to help you get in the festive spirit, Kellogg’s is giving one OMSY reader a #TreatForToys kit complete with all the supplies needed so you and your family can get creative and build some toy inspired treats together.rice-krispies-treats-for-toys-prize-pack-photo
