For the past ten summers, my sisters and I have gone on a camping/glamping trip to New River Beach Provincial Park. When our kids were little, Music Man and I always took them camping a few times every summer. Back in those days we pitched a tent and slept in sleeping bags on the floor. Our luxury item was "bubble pads", think bubble wrap in a large sheet, but there were no air mattresses like we have now. Ask my family, it is no secret that I love to go camping. There is something so totally relaxing about leaving all your cares and electronics behind for some time in the great outdoors!
