Holy Crap ~ Review ~

I now have a pretty good idea how this cereal was named… “Holy Crap” were the first words out of my mouth when I first tried this amazing cereal!

If you’re a fan of the TV show “Dragon’s Den”, you may very well have heard of this cereal.

A historic deal in the den happened in 2010 when Corin & Brian Mullins appeared on CBC’s Dragons’ Den.  They made the fastest deal and Jim Treliving’s fantastic endorsement of the raw, vegan, super nutritional breakfast cereal caused thousands of orders to flood in starting the moment the segment was viewed on November 17th, 2010.

Holy Crap breakfast cereal contains all natural ingredients:  organic chia, organic hulled hemp hearts, organic buckwheat, organic cranberries, organic raisins, organic apple bits, organic cinnamon.

The three main ingredients are some of the oldest perfect foods known to humans.

The key ingredient, chia or salvia hispanica l. is a recently revived oil seed crop from the Americas that was once more valuable than gold to the Aztecs. The Tarahumara, the greatest long distance runners on the planet, have had a long history of using this slow burning rocket fuel for both athletes and warriors alike.

Allergy alert: seed oil

Each bag is 225 grams and contains 8 full servings

Holy Crap is:

  • gluten free
  • lactose free
  • sugar free
  • salt free
  • wheat free
  • nut free
  • all-natural
  • vegan
  • high in fibre and iron
  • source of calcium
  • source of omega -3 and -6

The only negative I see is the cost.  At a little over $13.00 per bag some may find it to be a bit expensive…but, personally, I think it is worth every penny!
