I’m very excited to be participating in my second Biannual Blogathon Bash. The blogathon, created by Callista over at Callista’s Ramblings, is a twice yearly event designed for bloggers to get some much needed housekeeping chores completed.
The event is taking place this week end and will run for 72 hours.{8am Friday to 8am Monday EST}
OK…I think I’m almost set to go, this is what I have been doing to get ready –
- Make a “to do” list √
- Brew multiple pots of coffee √
- Have some high energy snacks available √
- Block out some extra time to get my blog organized √

Store up some extra sleep
This is what I have on my “to do” list?
- Work on lowering my Alexa rank.
- Go back through old posts and add the “no-follow” where appropriate.
- Clean up and organize my e-mails
- Participate in the 2 Twitter parties (Saturday June 23 11am EST and Saturday June 23 9pm EST (1 Hr Each) – I scheduled mine in my Google calendar and added reminders.
- Update my “Recipes”.
- Update my “Buttons & Things” tab.
- Participate in the “Mini Challenges” available for this blogathon.
- Complete 3 of the reviews/giveaways I have pending.
- Visit my fellow “Biannual Blogathon Bash” participants. {List is in left sidebar}
- Add the Alexa verification ID to the home page of Older Mommy Still Yummy…h…e…l…p…!! {I’m a little ashamed to say this was on my last blogathon list :) }
Hmmmm…. seems fairly ambitious, but hopefully, at the very least, I’ll be able to take a big chunk out of my “to do list”.
The event is 72 hours, you do as much blogging as you can during this time. Aim for 24 hours total but the hours are flexible!
There will be mini challenges (fun, easy projects that will better your blog) and prizes to be won.
