Muscular Dystrophy Awareness {Healthy Living}

September is Muscular Dystrophy Awareness Month

When you have muscular dystrophy, your muscles say stop, but your mind says go.

September begins Muscular Dystrophy Canada’s Awareness campaign. Over 50,000 Canadians are affected by a neuromuscular disorder. Through awareness-building, information and education, and by funding leading-edge research, you can be the link to help the association enhance the lives of those affected by neuromuscular disorders. You can help by spreading the message and raising awareness!

This video received two Honourable Mention Awards “Best in Canada” and “Best Effective Call to Action” in TechSoup’s 2012 Digital Storytelling challenge, an international video and photograph competition.
