Be prepared in minutes with “Emergency Profile”

Even as a nurse, I must admit,  I sometimes struggle to keep all the specific and critical health information for everyone in my family organized, accessible and up to date.  We all lead busy lives; many are very engaged with young active families, have their own health problems or have aging parents and/or extended family to care for.

Now, imagine an emergency medical situation involving someone you love and the resultant stress that situation would cause.  Now also imagine, that as a parent/spouse/adult child,  you may be called upon to supply pertinent medical information.   Would you be able to accurately supply such information as: a comprehensive medical history; if the person involved is presently on any medication as well as why, at what dose, and how often it is taken;  and if there are any medication allergies.

Scenerio number 2 – What if you were alone, unable to respond and needed emergency assistance? It would be so critical to have your medical history, current medications and allergies,  as well as emergency contact numbers tucked into your wallet.

Emergency Profile is an innovative way to gather all of that vital information and keep it  current and close at hand.

  1. One time I went to the emergency department and was too ill to remember names and dosages of medications. So now, I’ve been keeping a similar list of our health histories, medications and allergies and sensitivities in a sheet of paper in and envelope, in my purse. But this sounds like more comprehensive way to store that information and keep it updated. Thanks for posting and I’ll pass the information on to my daughters.

What a great idea. In this technological age having quick, easy access to accurate family data is critical. I’ll be next on the list!

  3. This is a wonderful idea, especially in today’s modern world! I always have to have our information on hand, and it would be so much more convenient to organize it through this. Especially if my daughter has another severe peanut reaction! It’s a must to be prepared!

  5. Especially important for those of us who have multiple health struggles and several meds. Thanks for the post.

This is such a great service, when I was pregnant I would have wanted something like that identifying that should something happen to me and I needed medical attention.
