Wordless Wednesday – for some time now we had been wondering why our bird feeder was empty every morning, this explains a lot!

That’s so pretty! I love seeing other animals in nature.
Aren’t they beautiful Alissa!
The rascles will certainly clean out a bird feeder. Nice catch, though!!!
Kathy at Oak Lawn Images
Kathy, apparently the carrots and apples they get aren’t quite enough, they like a little birdseed for dessert!
Great shot! :D
Thanks Lena, just got lucky!
The deer are having a wonderful time! Great shot! Thanks for hosting.
Thanks Judy, aren’t the amazing!
Oh wow, lol!
Aren’t they cute Trisha!
They are! =)
I wouldn’t have thought of them eating birdseed
lol…apparently Deborah, in addition to carrots, squash, potatoes and apples they also love birdseed!
Wow, & I thought my squirrels were entertaining!
lol…yes Laura, they certainly keep us entertained!
Oh those pesky critters! They always got into everything on the farm!!
We love having them around but I can imagine they would make short work of a vegetable garden!
Yes, it does! I’m surprised you were able to get that picture!! Guess you need a deer feeder now. :)
Michelle, it’s against the law to feed them where I live, but we do put out food for the…*ahem*…raccoons!
oh yes, deer are always eating our birdseed too :)
They certainly have a healthy appetite Tara, but they’re so cute, I really don’t mind and i can’t resist those big eyes!
Oh my, so many of them! There are three little deer that frequent our street and the boys and I often see them when we walk to school in the morning. I’ll bet this is why; someone on the block has a birdfeeder!
lol, yes that’s probably exactly what it is Kathryn and your boys must love to see them.
Oh dear, I thought (at first) something ELSE was going on!!!!!!
Mines up as well at AussiePomm – In the Navy!!!!
Have a great day!!
hahaha…never thought of that, but yes, at first glance I could see why you may think that! {lol}
Awww! Smart Deer!
They are very smart Elizabeth, we sometimes give them potato or carrot peeling and they will often meet us on the path!
haha, sneaky little devils aren’t they?!
They are certainly very resourceful Jennifer!!
Oh deer! But they are so pretty!
Happy WW!
They certainly are beautiful Veronica!
Awww, but they’re so pretty!
Aren’t they gorgeous creatures Robin, I love watching them!
Hilarious! My Mom has this problem at the cottage too!
They are so resourceful that one of them morphed into a giraffe…lol!
What an interest photo…
Aren’t they awesome Margarita!
We have to put a feeder out just for the squirrels. Sadly no deer in the city! Hope you don’t deprive them now that you know who the culprits are. Purrs and hugs, the kitties at http://www.thecatonmyhead.com, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
lol…no we would never deprive them Janet, the funny thing is we feed them carrots and apples every day during the cold months but I guess they like a little birdseed for dessert! {PS, that is quite a herd of kitties you have. Sadly we only have one kitty {Kashmir}right now. Our little grey kitty Emma died this past May, she was 15 and we are still heartbroken, as is her little friend Kashmir}
We always had this happen when I lived in the woods, too! I wouldn’t call it a problem, because I love seeing deer. Great shot!
I feel the same way Christy Ann, they are so much fun to watch.
Mystery solved. Great photo getting them in the act.
Thanks Jenn, they were so intent on the task at hand they didn’t give a hoot that I was snapping their picture!
LOL omg that’s too funny and so cute. Although, probably annoying for the birds and such hehe.
We make sure we now put the birdseed out in the morning now Brandi to give the birds a chance to grab some before the deer show up around 4-5PM.
Oh my gosh, I’ve heard of the squirrels doing it, but not the deer!
Yes, Rosey they are very cute but also very resourceful!
Visited you yesterday but missed seeing you at Wordless Wednesday Bloggers this week (www.wordlesswednesdaybloggers.blogspot.com) Hope you’ll join us!
