May is National Celiac Disease Awareness Month and to recognize this, Kellogg’s Canada is helping spread the word about celiac disease by offering easy to make, gluten-free Rice Krispies recipes for everyone to enjoy!

Gluten freeCeliac disease is recognized as one of the most common chronic diseases in the world.  According to Health Canada, it is estimated that it affects as many as one in every 100 to 200 people in North America.  As many as 300,000 Canadians could have this disease, however, many go undiagnosed.

Kellogg’s is pleased to support those with celiac disease and gluten sensitivity with Rice Krispies Brown Rice cereal, a delicious gluten- free cereal that is made with whole grain brown rice.  To be sure Rice Krispies Brown Rice cereal can be loved by all, they don’t use the malted barley found in the Original cereal. Rice Krispies has never sounded better to those with Celiac disease or gluten sensitivities.
