Make a Kellogg’s Treat and Make a Difference! #TreatsForToys

 #TreatsForToys

For many of us,  Christmas is truly the most wonderful time of the year!  Unfortunately,  it is not the most wonderful time of the year for everyone.

Many families struggle daily to pay rent and utilities and to purchase food and necessary clothing for their family.  Sadly, the extras, including toys for their children at Christmastime are at the bottom of the list.  Because Kellogg’s cares about families and they especially care about children, they have come up with the wonderful #TreatsForToys campaign.  This program will provide the gift of quality time for you and your children and the gift of a toy to a child in need.

The people at Kellogg’s believe, from making tasty treats to spending time with loved ones, nothing brings warmth into our hearts quite like celebrating all the good that life has to offer around the holidays!

This festive season, Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal would like to partner with you and your family to turn delicious treats into toys for children in need across Canada.

Would you like to help make Christmas wonderful for a needy child?

It is as easy as 1,2,3!

1.)  All you need to do is make a toy-shaped treat using Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal. Need some inspiration?  Kellogg’s has provided detailed instructions, including a diagram with all the information you need to create a:

Robot
Racecar
Princess
Dinosaur
Train

You can use one of these ideas or you are free to come up with your own creation!

2.) Take a picture of your treat using a digial camera or smartphone.

3.) Upload your picture to RiceKrispies.ca. It’s that simple!

For every original photo of a treat uploaded to RiceKrispies.ca, Kellogg will make a donation of $20 to The Salvation Army, up to a maximum of $30,000. The Salvation Army will use this donation to buy toys for children in need across Canada this holiday season.

Together let’s create #TreatsForToys, upload a photo of our masterpieces and ensure every child in Canada has a very Happy Holiday!
