The Keurig 2.0 is now available! #KeurigInnovation

By now I’m sure many of you know that I am a huge fan of coffee.   Honestly, some days I drink so much coffee I am fairly certain it is coursing through my veins!  You can imagine my delight then, when over these past several weeks I have received little teaser packages from Keurig Canada.

This and other little teasers were offering me a little taste of what to expect with the release of the next generation of Keurig brewing systems, the 2.0.

Then, a couple of weeks ago, I opened the door to find the courier, who was grinning from ear to ear, holding this huge bow wrapped carton!  The carton had the words, “Introducing Keurig 2.0”  written on the side.  Poor guy, I practically ripped it from his grip.  I think he was secretly hoping I would tell him he could keep it, but, as nice as he is, that was NOT going to happen!

In case you have missed the social media buzz these past few weeks about the release of the Keurig 2.0.  The major difference with the Keurig 2.0 is the ability to brew not only a single cup of coffee/tea/hot chocolate, but also the ability to brew a whole carafe! Perfect if you are having friends over for coffee or when you know, a single cup just won’t cut it.  Which for me, is just about every day!

I received the Keurig 2.0 K500 series, which I have been loving.  I really enjoy the versatility of being able to brew just one cup (in the afternoons when I haven’t yet had my quota!) but also like being able to schedule a carafe to brew first thing in the morning.  All I need to do is stumble to the kitchen, fill my mug and I’m happy! Have I mentioned I NEED coffee in the mornings?

Another feature I really like about the K500 series is the ability to get a mug of hot water.  Perfect for my own teas or hot chocolate.
