Simon Swipe Game

Whether it is for a birthday, Easter or this years’ Christmas shopping, we can always count on Hasbro for awesome gift ideas.   They have all the latest board games, action figures, electronic games, puzzles, preschool toys, creative play, toys for outdoor play and much, much more!

Are you wondering what in the world to buy for all the kids on your Christmas list? I find the kids in the eight and over age group the most difficult to buy for.  They are no longer babies, but they are not adults either.  They like toys, but it can be difficult to find “just the right” gift. Well, I have a great suggestions that is perfect for Christmas or any other occasion!

Simon Swipe

Simon Swipe – Simon Swipe, the new Simon electronic game by Hasbro, is similar to the original Simon, but now the play includes sliding your finger in one direction or another along the lighted buttons as part of the gaming experience. Swipe the lights to conquer the colours in this challenging Simon Swipe game!

It’s easy to play, challenging and sure to give hours of entertainment for any of the aged eight and over kids on your list. To be the champion swiper, just tap when you see one light, swipe when there are two, and swipe and reverse when the lights move clockwise and then go back. The game starts out easy and then builds to 16 blazing levels. With 4 games to choose from, including Classic Simon, you can practice on your own or challenge a friend.  But be warned… you’ll have to be at the top of your game to defeat Simon Swipe!

PURCHASING INFORMATION – Ages 8 and up. One + players. Available at most Atlantic Superstores, Real Canadian Superstore, Target, Walmart and Toys R Us.

What are some of your favourite games to buy for kids in this age group?

Have you ever played Simon or Simon Swipe?

OMG! I used to have one of the original Simon games, as well as a handheld knockoff of it, but they don’t sound half as crazy as this new version. I don’t think I’d do very well with it, lol. My son is too young to understand or appreciate a game like this now, but maybe when he’s older, although by then maybe they’ll have something even crazier. Believe it or not, I still have my old Bop It, lol. That’s the original Bop It, before they added all that stuff to make Extreme and Extreme 2, haha.
