Wondering what in the world to buy for kids in the eight and over age group? I find that age group to be the most difficult to buy for. They are not babies, but they are not adults either. They like toys, but it can be difficult to find “just the right” gift. Well, I have a great suggestions that is perfect for Christmas or any other occasion!
Taboo Buzz’d is a handheld version of the classic word game Taboo. Like the original game, players race against the clock to get their team to guess as many words as possible to earn points. But, you can’t say the four buzz words shown on the handheld unit’s screen.
If you say one of the “taboo” words, the other team hits the buzzer on top of the electronic unit and they earn a point. The game unit, which has more than 1,000 words, keeps score as teams pass the unit back and forth.
If your team can’t guess without the Taboo words, you can skip to the next – or act out your clue! This electronic game is quick to set up and easy to play because the game unit keeps the score for you. If your team has the most points after 6 rounds, you’re the Taboo Buzz’d winner!
PURCHASING INFORMATION – Ages 12 and up. For 2 teams of 2 or more players on each team. Available at most Atlantic Superstores, Real Canadian Superstore, Target, Walmart and Toys R Us.
