Top 20 Recipes of 2014

This is the time of year, that many of us take the opportunity, to look back on our accomplishments and missteps from the past year.  I think doing this can be very therapeutic; we learn and grow from our past experiences.

Bloggers like to do this too. It is fun for us to take a look at our blogging statistics from the previous year and take note of posts that have been popular or not so popular.  Among other things, it is a great way to gauge reader interests and hopefully make your experience on this blog more enjoyable.

As this is also the time for resolutions, last year, at the beginning of 2014 I decided I wanted to focus more on the food and recipe section of my blog. Cooking, baking  and entertaining are huge loves of mine, so to me, it made sense to work on those particular areas of blogging.

While it has not been without challenges, on the whole, I am very happy with how successful this resolution has been.

The following list of recipes is the top twenty of our most visited in 2014.  They are listed in descending order of popularity.  (Side note: the recipe for Broccoli Salad was wildly popular, it had four times more visitors than the second place recipe!)
