Our New Cuisinart Barbecue and the #CuisinartBBQs Twitter Party Alert!

After a very long winter, spring is finally starting to happen here in Atlantic Canada! I am so excited to finally have a chance to do lots of spring/summer activities like gardening, camping, travel, family get-togethers, and of course barbecuing!

We have had our current barbecue for a few years. It has been a good friend to us and helped us celebrate many happy occasions and quiet Sunday dinners. However, it is now very old, tired, rusty and it’s energy level is not what it was. Time to retire the old barbecue put it out to pasture and find a brand new, shiny replacement.

When went to our local Canadian Tire to check out the barbecues they had available, we were very impressed with the quality of the Cuisinart line. They were all really solid with a nice amount of weight. Nothing flimsy about these barbecues!

They also had a large choice of styles available.  If you have a large family or do a lot of entertaining you may want all the bells and whistles.  There was a few top of the line options including the Cuisinart Ceramic 900 Propane BBQ and the Cuisinart® Gourmet Infrared Pro 900 Propane BBQ.

There were also a lot of mid and lower priced models such as the Cuisinart Gourmet 710 Propane BBQ or the Cuisinart Ceramic Small Space Propane BBQ. They had the same high-quality workmanship as their higher priced cousins, just not as many options.

You could also choose a portable barbecue, like the Cuisinart® Cart Propane BBQ or the Cuisinart® Tabletop Propane BBQ. These are perfect to take camping, on a picnic, tailgating, to the beach or to the cottage.

No doubt, there was definitely a barbecue to fit everyone’s needs and wishes; one that will be just right for you and your family.

After looking around at a few different brands, sizes and models, we brought home the Cuisinart Gourmet 600B Propane BBQ. It is exactly what we were looking for and I am certain it will be a part of many memorable occasions at the Parlee household.

Isn’t she a beauty! We love the size of this barbecue too. It is large enough for entertaining but the barbecue itself wasn’t so huge that it dominated our kitchen deck.
