The NeelyG Festival of Music will feature the best of Folk, Roots, Celtic and Bluegrass music for three fabulous days on July 17, 18, and 19.
I feel a very personal connection to this amazing event. My good friend, Sheree, created this event to honour the memory of her beautiful daughter, Neely. It will soon be two years since she lost her beloved daughter.
Sheree conceived this festival as a way to honour Neely’s love of music and her musical spirit.
“It is a celebration of all that she held dear. She was all about the life lessons of the road of life that each and every one of our amazing performing troubadours have lived, learned and lent to their lyrics. These are the songs of life my friends, yours and mine, and they live on forever. So if you have ever woken in the wee hours searching for the melody of your soul you will find it and so much more at the Neely G Festival of Music.
The festival is all about the music that makes us who we are. You will find yourself inside every line. Come join us and our friends of the road on this amazing journey of friendship, fellowship and musical magic. Take a look at our amazing line up of headline performers so far and our stellar line up of local talent to be announced to you all very soon. This year we will be pulling out all of the stops to bring you the Best of the Best Musical performers that Canada has to offer. I will meet you all in the music.” (Sheree G)

Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything. (Plato)
Music has a way of bringing communities together. It’s so uplifting! It’s also a great way to get exposed to different forms of music.
