Let’s face it, bladder control is not a topic we tend to discuss much with others. I’m a nurse and although the rational side of me knows stress incontinence happens to many women, including me, I have never really had a frank discussion about bladder control problems with anyone.
I’m not sure why we don’t talk more openly about bladder control issues. We’re definitely not alone. “Stress incontinence affects nearly 50 percent of women who have had children by the age of 40”* and stress incontinence and overactive bladder are highly pervasive, even in younger women.
Stress incontinence does happen, it has happened to me and it could happen to you. It is a medical problem and nearly everyone can be helped. We don’t have to suffer in silence.
Wondering if Poise Impressa Bladder supports are right for you? You may be surprised to learn that not all bladder leaks are created equal.
Answer the following questions to find out if Poise Impressa Bladder supports are right for you:
- A.) Do you leak urine when you laugh, cough, dance, sneeze or exercise?
- B.) Do you leak urine when you have a SUDDEN need or rush to urinate?
If you answered YES to question “A”, you leak urine when you laugh, cough, dance, sneeze or exercise, this is called Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI) and Impressa Bladder Supports are for you!
If you answered YES to question “B”, you have a SUDDEN need to rush to urinate, then Impressa Bladder Supports are NOT for you! This is called Urge Urinary Incontinence (UUI) and Poise® Pads & Liners would be the choice for you.
If you have both kinds of Urine Leaks (Mixed Incontinence), this product is also NOT for you!
If you answered YES to question “A” MEET IMPRESSA!

Despite the prevalence of stress urinary incontinence (SUI) and its impact on quality of life, up until now, treatment options have remained largely unchanged and were not effective for all consumers.
Now, Poise Impressa Bladder Supports offer a new, proactive management solution to those living with SUI – a common type of incontinence that happens when one involuntarily leaks urine after pressure is suddenly placed on the bladder.
