Our Annual (Upgraded) Sisters Trip

Each summer, for the past ten or twelve years, my sisters and I have gone on a little “sister’s getaway”.  Occasionally, one or two of our grown daughters will join us, but most often, it’s just the three of us. Day Tripping on the Fundy Trail, N.B., Canada

Earlier this week we visited the breathtaking Fundy Trail which is located in southern New Brunswick, Canada and is part of the Trans Canada Trail system. This photo was taken at St. Martins beach on the way to the Fundy Trail. We stopped here for a quick visit. New River Beach Provincial Park in New Brunswick, Canada

A couple of weeks ago now, as a bit of a final grasp on summer, my sisters and I took a camping trip to New River Beach Provincial Park in New Brunswick. New River Beach is less than an hours drive from my home and I have visited it many, many, many times in the past. Our Visit to Minister’s Island, St. Andrews, New Brunswick

Minister's Island ~ Have you ever driven on the ocean floor? No? Well, that is exactly what you'll get to do when you visit the summer residence of railway builder Sir William Van Horne. This magnificent residence is open to the public during the summer months and only accessible by land during low tide. You can see a car driving over the now exposed sandbar toward Minister's Island.
