Resolve® Your Stains with the #ResolveTip Exchange!

These past few weeks our family has been working on a few renovations and outside projects.  These include some landscaping, cleaning all the siding, painting the shutters, painting the garage door, refinishing and staining some outdoor furniture,  replacing two decks and the list goes on!

 {Just one of the dirty, messy projects we recently dealt with!}

Well, I am here to tell you, all of the “outside” work has created a lot of “inside” work too; mainly in the form of loads and loads and loads of extra laundry.  I don’t think there has been one day that hasn’t yielded a truckload of dirty, muddied clothing!

How I dealt with the muddied, dirty clothing was to let the mud dry and brush off as much as I could, then I used Resolve as a pre-treatment.  Did you know that you can actually use Resolve powder as a pre-treat for particularly tough stains? All I did was:

  • Mix ¼ scoop of Resolve powder with ¾ scoop of warm water (it’s easiest to mix it all up in the scoop)
  • Applied some paste to the stain and left it for about 5 minutes.
  • Used the knobbled scoop to work the paste gently into the stain.
  • Added the stained piece of clothing to the rest of the wash load, added detergent as usual, and washed.

Thankfully, the muddied, dirty jeans and T-shirts came out as good as new!

We all know that from time to time, stains happen… and Resolve wants to help you get them out.  Have you heard about the excellent stain resource set up by Resolve?  The Resolve® Tip Exchange is the place to go to solve your toughest laundry stain problems.

  1. Huge Resolve fan here!

  2. LOL, I had to laugh at your photo because when first seeing it my first thought was, “I wonder how much of that got carried into the inside?” It is always great to find something that works and I’ve always been a big fan of Resolve.

  3. I need to get some Resolve – hubby stained our stairs when he was moving furniture this weekend!!!

  4. Food stains are the most common ones around here. It seems like I never see them until I go to put things in the washer. I definitely need some RESOLVE!!

  5. Excellent summary of the Resolve website & contest, Monica! I can see this being an excellent resource in the future – especially with two boys that are constantly making big messes!

  6. This is the second post I’ve seen about this contest! I need to go enter my stain removal tips immediately. I’ve got plenty to share. Thanks for the heads up!

  7. It’s good to have a secret weapon in the laundry room! Glad you got the stains out!

  8. Awesome tip! I love this stuff! I never knew about making a paste with it though. I will definitely be trying this out. Thanks :)

  9. new born poop stains! Can’t get rid of it!
I like the idea of making a paste.
It’s so weird this time around. My sons newborn poop never stained like it does with the twins and everyone id breast fed? Go figure, lol!

  10. My son bled all over a breastfeeding pillow (that he now cuddles with), I didn’t notice for a long time. Now the stain WILL NOT come out.

  11. My hubby has never adopted the “bare feet in summer” syndrome, but instead wears white sox ( what else?!) outside on the deck and the paved yard. Needless to say there have been times I have simply thrown them in the garbage, but will now try the paste idea with Resolve. Thanks for the tip!!

  12. resolve is my stain fighter of choice to

  13. The worst things I have to get out of clothes are grease and fuel when my guy comes off the road. His clothes can get really grungy and smelly! The more common stains are food spills, since we eat in the livingroom, in our chairs rather than at a table.
