The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition is Now Available on DVD

Disney has opened the vault and for a limited time only has re-released in a diamond edition, one of my favourite movies of all time, The Little Mermaid!

Like us, you and your family will once again be able to swim under the sea with the much loved Ariel; an independent and determined young mermaid who spends her days singing, daydreaming, and adventuring.

You will once again fall in love with Flounder, Ariel’s best friend, who is often anxious about going on adventures. But when Ariel’s in trouble, he’s always there to lend a fin and with Sebastian, the calypso-singing, Caribbean crab and the musical genius of Triton’s court.

Ariel longs to be part of the human world and after bravely striking a bargain with Ursula, a sneaky sea witch, mermaid princess Ariel embarks on the adventure of a lifetime.  With Flounder and Sebastian at her side, Ariel will need all of her courage and determination to make things right in both her worlds.

In addition to the feature with a running time of 83 minutes, your family will also enjoy over 3 hours of splashing bonus, including:

  • New state of the art digital restoration
  • Music video – “Part Of Your World” – Carly Rae Jepsen
  • Disney Intermission – press pause and see what happens!
  • Crab-E-OKE – sing along
  • Never before seen deleted character – Harold the Merman
  • Part of her world – Jodi Benson’s Voyage to New Fantasyland
  • @DisneyAnimation – go behind the scenes with today’s top Disney animators
  • Howard’s Lecture – music in videos
  • Under the Scene
  • PLUS more!

The Little Mermaid with it’s classic tale of good versus evil and love conquering all, is a classic you do not want to miss.  You will want to grab it quickly before it is sent back to the vault!

Comments

  1. I’ve never seen it….I don’t have any kids so it just never was something I was interested in. Plus, overall, I don’t like musicals at all, esp. not animated ones. I don’t think I have a fave Disney movie….Disney/Pixar yes, but not old-school Disney.

I Love Comments
