Wordless Wednesday ~ I have made this recipe, Beef in Beer, on several occasions and have absolutely LOVED it each time. It is from Laura Calder’s book, French Taste, Elegant Everyday Eating. The aroma in the kitchen as this is cooking is amazing, your mouth will be watering the entire time, the taste, unbelievably good and the beef just falls apart, it is so tender!
Mmmmm, that is the delicious dish that you… or rather, your hubby and daughter… prepared for us on your birthday. I agree, tender and absolutely delicious!!!
Yes it is Pat, I love it, one of my favourite recipes!
That looks DIVINE! I want some right now!
It is really, really good Kathryn and the best part…you can make it a day ahead!

Oh I love Laura. This sounds like something that would go over well in our house!
I do too, I think I have watched every show and I own all her cookbooks.

It is super easy to make and the best part, it can be made the day before you want to serve it!

It is what we had on my birthday, Kathy. It’s easy to make and can be made the day ahead and served over either egg noodles or potatoes.
